Task 1
What kind of volunteering service do you like to do for the seniors in the community ?
Answer
Personally speaking , I would like to talk more to the seniors for the following
reasons. Firstly, these old people always feel lonely since their family members don’t
have enough time to accompany them. And this kind of nest’s empty loneliness is
almost unbearable. If I can talk to them more, I will give them encouragement and
deliver more warmth and hope to them.
What’s more, I can inform them of the latest news and interesting stories during the
conversation . From that, they will always have the connection with the world. So that’s
why I hope to be a volunteer to talk to the seniors.
Task 2
Do you prefer to watching quietly or discussing with others.
Answer
I prefer to watch TV quietly for the following reasons.
Firstly, I can stay focus on the development of the plot and thinking by myself,
especially when I am watching mystery films, detecting by myself is really the most
interesting part of it.
Secondly, discussing with others can be really annoying because their stoppable
discussion distract my mind from watching TV. And the worst part of discussion is
spoiler, if someone make a spoiler , it really take all the fun of watching TV. So that’s
why I prefer to watch TV quietly.
Task 3
【阅读】School should list out the menu on the website
1）to make a better decision about what to eat
2）they can eat at home , and practice cooking skill.
【听力】The woman agrees
1) she doesn’t know what she is eating and some kind of food she eats is unhealthy
2) her cooking skill can be improved after graduation
Answer
In the reading material ,there is a proposal that the university should list out the
menu on the website to help students make a better decision about what to eat. And
practice their cook when they eat at home.
the woman in the conversation agrees with the proposal for the following reasons .One
is that she doesn’t know what she is exactly eating in the dining hall and some kind of
food she eats is unhealthy. If the school list out the menu she can surely make a better
decision.
And the other is that she can use these menu to practice her cooking skill after
graduation.
Task 4

【阅读】Bi-direction :
【听力】教授举了例子来验证： Max 喜欢对父母笑，但是他对父母笑的时候父母也要
smile back,这样父母也会变得爱笑，他喜欢拍手引起父母的注意力，于是父母就会更加关注他。
Answer
The reading passage gives a term named bi-direction which means the influence
between children and parents.
The professor in the lecture gives an example to demonstrate it .
A baby named Max likes to smile to his parents and when he is doing that, his
parents will certainly smile back which lead to his parents like to smile more often.
Another example is Max like to clap his hand to draw his parents attention, so his
parents tend to pat more attention on him.
Task 5
【问题】一位作家来学校讲座，主角超级想去但是他在那段时间是他们学习小组的学
习时间。
【解决方案】
方案一：去看讲座的话就要更改学习小组的集合时间，但是大家都很忙时间很不好定。
方案二：去学习的话那就是错过了讲座，而那个作家以后可能都不会再来了。虽然之
后可以得到他的讲座文字稿但是毕竟面对面的交流会更好一些。
Answer

The problem faced by the student is that he wants to attend a presentation which is
held by a famous writer.but he has a study group to attend at the same time.
There are two possible solutions one is to go to the presentation and change the
group meet to another day while the other is go to the study group.
As for me I prefer the first because it’s maybe his only time to meet the writer face
by face, so the importance of it surly outweigh the meet of study group. Although all
the group members are busy I am sure he can find a date.
And even he choose the study group he can barely stay focus on his study because he
will definitely think about the presentation and wish to fly to here to see the famous
writer face to face. I don’t think a paper version of presentation can make him feel
better. So I suggest him to attend the presentation.
Task 6
Location ability:动物的定位能力
【例子】
1) bee 飞到很远的地方去找吃的，而在巢穴中的蜜蜂会释放一种化学物质为他们指出
回家的路。
2) moth 在交配期的时候，雌性moth 会释放出一种化学元素，让雄性得到信息并找到
她。
Answer
The lecture is about location ability.The professor talks about how insects find the
right location.
Take the bee for example when some bees fly to place remote from the hive to look
for food. The bees in the hive will release a chemical to guide them back.
The other example is moth, in the estrous cycles, the female moth will release a
chemical to attract the male moth and let the male moth find them.
本次考试虽然没中机经但是整体难度系数并不高。Task1 为活动类话题中常见的
志愿者问题与大多数提供选项的志愿问题不同此题需要考生自己说一个志愿活
动并进行举例说明，有的考生乍一看可能会慌乱不知如何下手，但是回顾以往的
志愿这题目，不少自带选项的问题都为我们提供了不错的素材和思路，比如医院
志愿者工作为病人读书，陪病人聊天，还有社区志愿活动，教大人如何使用电脑
等等，只需做一下轻微改动即可应用到本题中。毕竟志愿工作都是以帮助他人为
出发点。所以考生在平时练习的时候不要只背答案，要多看问题并试着整理出自
己的思路，同时再看看能否将同一思路应用到相近题目上来减轻答题压力。Task
2 也是如此，问的就是喜欢一个人看电视还是和大家一起，其实不论是学习，娱
乐活动，都会涉及到这样的相似的1vs N 问题，大家通过日常练习来对此类问题
进行整理总结就不难发现其中种种相通之处。那么以后在处理类似题目的时候就
会轻松很多。Task 3 是与食堂相关的话题，Task4 是心理学话题，为高频话题，
Task5，6 同样为高频的时间冲突类话题和生物类话题。在综合任务的练习上还
是以TPO 为主进行精练，对自己拿不准的地方进行反复练习，熟悉答题思路。
